Job summary

The Boulevard Post Acute in Fairfax, VA, is hiring an RN Supervisor for full-time and part-time shifts (3 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM). This role provides clinical leadership, oversees nursing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staff to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in VA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards in care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership.
