Job summary

Meadow View Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a Wednesday 12‑hour shift (7am–7pm). This is a part‑time position with no weekend requirements, offering a supportive, team‑oriented environment for geriatric care.

The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care with physicians and families, and ensuring compliant daily visits and medication administration. Strong leadership, communication, and EHR proficiency are essential to maintain high standards

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
• Act as liaison between physicians, hospitals, families and other medical personnel to ensure care plans are followed.
• Perform daily resident visits to observe and evaluate status and direct day-to-day nursing activities.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered.
• Demonstrate independent thinking, supervise staff, and work as part of a team for residents' benefit.

Job description

Meadow View Nursing Center provides a full range of services in our highly regarded program of nursing and rehabilitation and nursing-centered care. We pride ourselves on positive outcomes and personalized services.

We are currently seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for our Wednesday, 12 hr shift 7am-7pm, no weekends required. This is a part time position.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate working with geriatric patients
• Preferred Nursing experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.

Job duties include:

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident
• Take on the role of liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members and other medical personnel to ensure resident plan of care is followed.
• RN must make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status and to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
• Supervise other nursing service personnel and ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are being administered as ordered by the physician.
• RN must be able to demonstrate the ability to think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident.
