Job summary

Keystone Treatment Center, part of Acadia Healthcare, is seeking an RN for days and nights to join our inpatient and outpatient substance use disorder and mental health care team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for a 1-year commitment, with shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm and every third weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, documenting records, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; prior psychiatric/mental/behavioral or substance use nursing experience is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of nursing practice per state regulations and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed correctly.
• Assess patient status continually and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
• Exhibit therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Coordinate the unit activities as directed.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.

Education

RN license

1 year nursing experience
