Job summary

Mirror Lake Recovery Center in Burns, Tennessee, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the weekend night shift to support substance use disorder and behavioral health care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates.

In this role you will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, maintain records, and coordinate with physicians and the treatment team on our 75-acre campus.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license for the state of employment or eligibility.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral/addiction experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs to guide care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications per orders and document counts.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with staff and patients.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status and emergencies.
