Job summary

Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a specialized rehabilitation setting. This position supports both experienced nurses and new graduates through a Nurse Residency Program.

The role offers a part-time schedule at the Spaulding Sub Acute Unit in Brighton, MA, with a focus on comprehensive assessments, care planning, and patient education within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments accurately and timely.
• Develop and implement a plan of care reflecting patient needs and goals.
• Provide, evaluate, and modify nursing care to achieve objectives.
• Complete patient care documentation per established standards.
• Administer medications safely according to professional standards.
• Transcribe or acknowledge doctors' orders as needed.
• Coordinate nursing care activities with other team members.
• Assess patient education needs and provide relevant education.
• Mentor and teach healthcare team members as needed.
