MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is offering a part-time, rotating shift RN education stipend program. The facility, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Elkader, IA, supports students finishing their RN education with financial stipends and licensure reimbursement.

The program emphasizes mission-driven, patient-centered care in a rural community setting. Participants will receive up to $2,500 monthly stipend during the final 6 months of RN schooling and $500 reimbursement for NCLEX/licensure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program.
• Must pass boards within 3 months of graduation.
• Must sign the Program Agreement and return before any payments are processed.
• Candidates must work for at least 18 months post licensure.
