Job summary

HonorHealth's Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Telemetry Unit 3N/3W. The role supervises staff, coordinates patient care, mentors nurses, and collaborates with physicians to implement the medical plan of care for stroke patients.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
• Arizona RN license is required.
• Stroke-specific education requirements must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff to ensure adequate patient care, including hiring/onboarding, evaluating, and developing employees.
• Collaborates with physicians to implement medical plan of care for patients on the unit.
• Promotes inter/intra-department collaboration and effective problem solving.
• Provides patient and family education on illness management, post-treatment needs, and home care.
• Directs staff in applying the nursing process and maintaining quality patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
