Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing practice, adhering to age-specific standards. Provides care across all phases including preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable resident care within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA)
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state; multistate licensure if in NLC state
• Maintains required competencies and certifications
