UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in LA GRANGE, IL is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide patient care on day shifts. Starting pay is $37.50/hr with a schedule of 6:45am - 7:15pm and rotating weekends/holidays.

Eligible staff may earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and achievement. Responsibilities include safe medication administration, patient assessment, effective handoffs, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• RN license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborates and promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy and enforces safety regulations.
• Promotes a positive patient experience by demonstrating caring behaviors, maintaining clear communication, and collaborating with the care team to provide safe, timely, and effective whole-person care.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies ensuring legal and ethical practice.
