Cook Children’s Medical Center is seeking a Staff RN for the Sleep Medicine Clinic to deliver individualized nursing care within a specialty clinic environment, using the nursing process to support the medical plan of treatment established by the specialty care team.

You will assess patient needs, implement targeted interventions, and coordinate care that aligns with the clinic’s clinical standards and patient-centered care philosophy.

• 1 year of direct nursing experience.
• Active, unrestricted TX RN license.
• BLS
• PALS

Location: Dodson Medical Office Building Department: Cln-Sleep Medicine Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40

Summary: The RN, Staff SC (Sleep Medicine Clinic) is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care tailored to the specific needs of patients and their families within a specialty clinic environment. Utilizing the nursing process as a foundational framework, this role provides clinical expertise that augments the medical plan of treatment established by the specialty care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing patient requirements, implementing specialized interventions, and coordinating care that aligns with the unique clinical standards of the specific specialty service. By integrating patient-centered advocacy with evidence-based practice, the RN Staff SC ensures that complex specialty care is delivered with high precision and clinical excellence.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• 1 years of direct nursing experience
• Associate's degree in nursing
• Active, unrestricted TX Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS
• PALS
