Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking an RN, Staff SC (Sleep Medicine Clinic) in the Dodson Medical Office Building. The role provides individualized nursing care within a specialty clinic, applying the nursing process to support the medical care plan and coordinating care with the Sleep Medicine team.

The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with a 40-hour workweek. Requirements include 1 year of direct nursing experience, an Associate's degree in nursing, a TX RN

• BLS and PALS certifications.

Summary: The RN, Staff SC (Sleep Medicine Clinic) is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care tailored to the specific needs of patients and their families within a specialty clinic environment. Utilizing the nursing process as a foundational framework, this role provides clinical expertise that augments the medical plan of treatment established by the specialty care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing patient requirements, implementing specialized interventions, and coordinating care that aligns with the unique clinical standards of the specific specialty service. By integrating patient-centered advocacy with evidence-based practice, the RN Staff SC ensures that complex specialty care is delivered with high precision and clinical excellence.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• 1 years of direct nursing experience
• Associate's degree in nursing
• Active, unrestricted TX Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, PALS
