Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Texas is seeking an RN Staff SC for the Sleep Medicine Clinic, delivering individualized nursing care within a specialty clinic. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate care aligned with the clinic's standards.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 40 hours per week. Requirements include 1 year of direct nursing experience, an Associate's degree in nursing, an active TX RN license, and BLS/PALS

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct nursing experience is required.
• Active BLS and PALS certification are required.
• Nursing licensure must be TX RN (Registered Nurse).

• Deliver individualized nursing care tailored to patients and families in a Sleep Medicine Clinic.

Summary:

The RN, Staff SC (Sleep Medicine Clinic) is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care tailored to the specific needs of patients and their families within a specialty clinic environment. Utilizing the nursing process as a foundational framework, this role provides clinical expertise that augments the medical plan of treatment established by the specialty care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing patient requirements, implementing specialized interventions, and coordinating care that aligns with the unique clinical standards of the specific specialty service. By integrating patient-centered advocacy with evidence-based practice, the RN Staff SC ensures that complex specialty care is delivered with high precision and clinical excellence.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted TX Registered Nurse (RN) license
