Decatur Morgan Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead clinical care at the Decatur Morgan Hospital campus. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Possesses a nursing license in good standing in the State of Alabama.
• Experience in clinical nursing with direct patient care preferred.
• BLS current/certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments and identify patient needs and priorities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on physician orders and input.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to policies.
• Monitor patient responses and update the plan of care.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care including wound care and mobility support.
• Promote early ambulation and discharge planning.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR or rapid response.
