Job summary

Southcoast Health in Swansea, MA is seeking a qualified RN Staff Nurse for a 32-hour per week daytime shift. The role involves coordinating patient care and educating patients and families, with leadership responsibilities within the nursing team.

Required are a valid RN license in MA/RI, BLS, and experience with electronic health records. ACLS may be required depending on department, with a comprehensive benefits package and tuition assistance available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• One to three years of related experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ACLS may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.
