Fulton Commons in East Meadow, NY is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for both full-time and part-time roles on Evening and Night shifts with rotating weekends.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 and a pay range of $45.00–$47.00 per hour. New grads are welcome to apply and will gain valuable gerontological clinical experience in a supportive team.

Requirements include an active NYS RN license; benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, professional development and more.

Qualifikationen

• Must have an active / unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse License.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills.

• Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Registered Nurse RN Duties:

• Uses nursing judgement and knowledge of gerontological nursing to set priorities and make decisions.
• Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
• Implements physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs standard nursing treatments and observes resident for desired and unwanted effects.
• Assess & implement Residents’ care plans when conditions warrant a change as necessary.
• Completes care plans and other documents as assigned.
• Complies with the confidentiality of all resident information as per HIPAA and corporate guidelines.
• Supervises, directs and/or provides resident care when assigned.
• Establishes personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons as a representative of the facility.
• Provides support to patients, friends, and families.
• Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.
• Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.

RN Requirements/Qualifications:
