Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to deliver professional nursing care, assess patient needs, set care priorities, and delegate tasks accordingly. You will evaluate patient responses and ensure progress toward expected outcomes while remaining accountable for the care provided during your shift.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current Alabama or Multistate license, BLS in orientation, and ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• License: Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required in orientation
• ACLS must be obtained within six months of employment
• Experience: Required
• Must have excellent communication skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of equipment and materials for procedures per Nursing Service Procedure Manual
• Competencies must be completed during provisional period
