Job summary
Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, PA, seeks an experienced RN Staff Educator to educate and mentor our nursing staff, contributing to exceptional patient care and safety. Work Monday-Friday and enjoy weekends with friends and family!
In this role you will develop and implement education programs to improve staff skills, identify learning needs, and collaborate with nursing leadership to drive policy and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in nursing education or leadership roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nursing education programs for staff, including online courses, in-service training, and on-the-floor training.
- Identify educational needs and develop targeted training programs to address these needs.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to new staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of education programs and staff training.
