Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community in Minnesota is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator-RN to lead the planning, development, and evaluation of the staff education program in accordance with federal, state and Benedictine community standards.

You will establish orientation for new hires, design ongoing education for nurses and aides, maintain education records, and promote the Mission and Core Values in daily practice.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing
• Excellent communication for delivery of adult education modules
• Two or more years of experience in long-term care
• Knowledge of systems to document training and regulatory records/CEUs/clock hours
• BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and educate staff on Federal, State and community education requirements
• Establish and implement a comprehensive orientation program for community personnel
• Plan, implement and evaluate ongoing education for nurses, CNAs and other personnel based on needs assessments
• Develop, maintain and secure records of education for all associates
• Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values in day-to-day activities
