Assess, implement, and evaluate the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN should be knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, family members/significant others, peers, and other healthcare team members to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Additional certifications or training may be required by specialty area.

Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in the clinical specialty (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
