Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to organize and coordinate nursing care across patient groups in alignment with hospital policies and procedures. You will monitor patients, evaluate progress and perform treatments while documenting observations and outcomes.

The role includes contributing to orientation and training of staff, ensuring high-quality care, and participating in clinical teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Alabama (AL RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate delivery of nursing care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Provide direct patient care by monitoring status, evaluating progress, and performing treatments.
• Recognize, report and document clinical observations; participate in orientation and training of personnel.

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures. He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures. He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.
