Job summary

Huntsville Hospital seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) to organize and coordinate nursing care for groups of patients in line with hospital policies and procedures. The role provides direct patient care, monitors status, evaluates progress, performs treatments, and documents observations.

The RN also participates in orientation, training, and management of personnel. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current Alabama RN license, and BLS certification.

Job description

He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures. He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current AL RN License. BLS required.
