Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to organize and coordinate nursing care for patient groups in compliance with hospital policies. You will provide direct patient care, monitor status, evaluate progress, and perform treatments while documenting observations.

The role includes orientation, training, and supervision of staff. The successful candidate will hold an accredited nursing degree, an active AL RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Alabama RN license.
• BLS certification required.

He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures. He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.
