Job summary

Scripps Health in Oceanside (Scripps Clinic Jefferson) is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time, benefited position with 10-hour day shifts from 7:30am to 6pm. The role involves direct patient care for high-acuity patients in a complex department, within the scope of practice, and may include clinical procedures and emergency protocols.

You will collaborate with the patient care team to ensure exceptional experiences for patients and families, and may float to Encinitas Clinic as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care to high-acuity patients within scope of practice.
• Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
