Job summary

Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders (WACBD) is seeking a Full‑Time Registered Nurse Specialist to join our patient‑centered team in Seattle. We provide on‑the‑job training for this specialty role and opportunities to collaborate on national projects, lead regional initiatives, and participate in advanced specialty training.

You will engage in comprehensive care plans, patient education, and coordination across disciplines, with occasional remote on-call shifts and travel for outreach

Qualifications

• Current Washington Multi-State Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience.
• Proficient in English language, both spoken and written.
• Computer proficiency.
• Master’s Degree in nursing or relevant field preferred or equivalent education and clinical experience, especially bleeding disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Manage telephone triage, patient follow-up, and care coordination activities.
• Perform venipuncture, infusion therapy, and review diagnostic test results.
• Conduct home visits as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient rounds and team collaboration.
• Support clinical research studies and clinical trial activities.
• Engage in community outreach, advocacy, and educational programs.
• Travel periodically for training, regional partnerships, and outreach clinic services.
