Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics in Bellevue, WA is seeking aProcedural Endoscopy Nurse to join a busy endoscopy team. This role offers a 0.6 FTE with 8 or 10 hour day shifts and nights and weekend call.

The pay range is $50.72–$90.17 hourly, with a strong training opportunity in GI and pulmonary endoscopy procedures and pain service injections. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, WA RN license (compact state OK), BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of hospital bedside nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing, required; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
• Healthcare provider BLS and ACLS Certification required.
• One year of hospital bedside nursing experience required.
• One to two years’ experience working with Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy procedures.
• Note: rhythm assessment may be required in first week for units with cardiac rhythm competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures in GI and pulmonary services and provide nursing support.
• Assist with injections for the physiatry (pain) service line.

Endoscopy experience is desired but we are excited at the opportunity to teach you the skills you need to be successful in endoscopy. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required , BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.)
• Healthcare provider BLS and ACLS Certification required.
• One year of hospital bedside nursing experience required.
• One to two years’ experience working with Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy procedures.
• Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
