Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a FT RN for the SPAR department at our Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. Position requires a current RN license, BLS, and the ability to work a day shift with occasional Saturday call.

ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, and collaboration with caregivers to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification is required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Care for all assigned age groups with appropriate nursing knowledge.
• Document services and supplies accurately for each patient.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Perform and document comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
• Educate patients based on assessed needs and plan of care.
• Communicate patient status and care plan to the team.
