Job summary

Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing services team in a skilled nursing facility.

The RN will provide direct resident care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, administer medications, and assess health status while coordinating with physicians and families to ensure care plans are followed and regulatory standards are met. Join our mission-driven team committed to quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Minnesota RN license (active)
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans
• Supervise LPNs/CNAs and care team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assess residents’ health status and document observations
• Coordinate care with physicians and families and interdisciplinary team
• Communicate with physicians and allied health professionals regarding resident status
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in condition
• Ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance
• Participate in care conferences, QA activities, and staff education
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
