Job summary

Princeton Transitional Care & Assisted Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support skilled nursing operations in Erwin, Tennessee. This role also involves supervising nursing assistants, coordinating admissions and care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts.
• Monitor residents' status and report changes to physician or family.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the care team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and coordinate admissions/transfers.
