Job summary

Timberland Health and Rehabilitation Center in Butler, Alabama, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing team.

You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support our clinical staff in delivering high-quality care within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This full-time or PRN role offers weekend and holiday shifts and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor resident condition including vital signs and changes in status
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Work closely with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapy staff
• Support residents with daily care needs when needed
• Participate in care planning and family meetings
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Help train and support new nursing staff
