Job summary
North Bank Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Downtown Jacksonville, FL, seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated team delivering long-term and rehabilitative care. Work involves assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care while coordinating with other staff.
Qualified candidates have an active RN license in Florida and at least 1 year of medical/surgical experience; reliable transportation is required.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
- A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice; reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Works under Nurse Practice Act and facility policies with sound nursing judgment.
- Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care for patients/residents in long-term and rehabilitation care.
- Delivers nursing care and implements the patient plan of care.
- Directs and supervises care provided by other nursing personnel.
- Maintains documentation and knowledge of equipment setup and use.
