Job summary

Princeton Transitional Care & Assisted Living in Bristol, VA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. Provide direct nursing care, medication administration, wound care, and supervise nursing assistants during shifts.

You will develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, ensure safety and quality, document accurately, and participate in regulatory surveys. A $7500 sign-on bonus is available; RN license and CPR/BLS preferred; EHR proficiency required.

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
Experience in supervision or charge nurse role is preferred.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
Assist residents with ADLs while ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort.
Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts per policy.
Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Complete accurate clinical documentation and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
