Job summary

Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids, IA, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a skilled nursing facility. This full-time/part-time role offers day and night shifts (6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM) in a 171-bed community within Care Initiatives.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa in good standing.
Current CPR Certification.
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing / LTC setting.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status.
Support daily clinical operations while ensuring resident safety and quality outcomes.
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs and care plans.
Complete accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
