Job summary

Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids, IA, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a skilled nursing facility. This full-time/part-time role offers day and night shifts (6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM) in a 171-bed community within Care Initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing / LTC setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status.
• Support daily clinical operations while ensuring resident safety and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs and care plans.
• Complete accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
