Job summary
Cherokee Specialty Care, a 62-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Cherokee, IA, is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time and part-time shifts. Competitive wage with shift differentials and a strong care team across many facilities in Iowa.

Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa or ability to activate.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations is preferred.
- Demonstrates empathy, respect, patience, and discretion in care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Support unit operations to maintain quality care and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
- Monitor residents and respond to changes in status promptly.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate care needs with residents and families.
- Document care to meet regulatory and facility standards.
- Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
