Job summary

Lee's Summit Place in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate healthcare team. This position delivers high-quality nursing care, collaborates with physicians and other professionals, and supports resident wellbeing across shifts.

The role requires an approved RN program graduate, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of skilled nursing facility experience; strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Effectively carries out medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with company policy.
• Ensures residents and their families are promptly notified of significant changes in health status.
• Ensures accurate reporting of incidents, accidents, and adverse events to Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Documents, investigates, and addresses resident incidents and grievances as per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Upholds residents' rights and maintains confidentiality of health information.
