Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is hiring an RN to assess, plan and deliver patient care in a hospital setting. You will administer treatments, educate patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

Associate's of Nursing required
Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
1+ acute care hospital setting preferred
RN license required (Florida) and BLS required

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
Administer medications and treatments safely following physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes in the medical record.
Respond to code situations promptly and effectively to stabilize patients.
