Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform holistic assessments, develop and adjust individualized care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, active RN license, and BLS certification, with a preference for Bachelor’s degree and acute-care

Qualifications

Associate's degree in nursing is required to practice as RN.
RN license and BLS certification are required.
1+ years of acute care experience is preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments across multiple domains.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for adverse effects.
Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care.
Document care activities and outcomes accurately.
Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
Provide emotional support and communication with patients and families.
Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as needed.
Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Respond promptly to code situations and implement interventions.
