Williamsburg Post Acute & Rehabilitation VA is seeking Registered Nurses to join our skilled care team. We offer full-time, part-time and per diem shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Compensation ranges from $37 to $42.31 per hour with shift differentials and a limited-time sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Active RN license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards and orders.
• Plan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs.
• Evaluate care interventions and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Transcribe physician orders and chart progress notes.
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family.
• Identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols.
• Order and report diagnostic tests timely.
• Coordinate rehab with therapists to meet needs.
• Monitor CNA documentation and ensure assignments are completed on time.
• Perform additional nursing duties as required by State Nurse Practice Act.
