Job summary

Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexandria, VA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for full- or part-time roles. Must have at least 1 year LTC nursing experience and Virginia RN license with BLS. Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am.

Hourly range $40-$44, with weekend and evening/night differentials and No Frills option. Join a 307-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility that emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care guided by our core values.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• At least 1 year of LTC experience as a nurse.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
