Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center is seeking an RN for MedSurg/Ortho/Tele on a full-time day shift (0600 - 1800). 1 year experience is preferred but not required. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified RN candidates.

The RN will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and ensure high-quality outcomes while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and protocols.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and reports changes to care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Maintains infection control and patient safety practices.
• Documenting care and education in medical records.
