Qualifications

• RNs without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in a BSN program within two years.
• NC nursing license must be obtained within 90 days if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Use nursing judgment to individualize the care plan based on assessment.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Assist other personnel and act as team leader when assigned.
• Monitor environment of care and ensure equipment readiness and safety.
• Engage in professional development and support staff education.
