Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare seeks an experienced RN to supervise shifts and units, coordinating staffing and patient activities while handling delegated administrative responsibilities. The role supports the Unit Manager and collaborates with physicians to ensure consistent patient care.

Qualifications include an Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, and maternal-child certifications as applicable; BSN preferred. Two years of supervisory experience is preferred to lead a team effectively.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current Illinois RN License.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, STABLE, PALS, TNCC, and related certifications as applicable.
• Maternal-Child: ACLS, NRP, STABLE, PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delegates staff duties to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Manages shift staffing and supervision.
• Monitors workload and delegates responsibilities.
• Assists Unit Manager with daily operation if applicable.
• Rounds with physicians if applicable.
