Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to lead a dedicated nursing team and set the standard of excellence across our communities. You will supervise nursing personnel, direct care, and ensure efficient unit operations for adult geriatric residents.

Active Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 1–3 years of managerial experience. A strong leadership track record will help you excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility.
• Must possess a current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift.
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care.
• Work with an adult geriatric population.
• Serve as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care; supervise clinical aspects of nursing.
• Manage day to day operations of Nursing Department.
• Interface with others to ensure efficient unit operations.
