Job summary

CareOne at Brookline in Brookline, MA is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities during your tour of duty. This role ensures adherence to state and federal regulations and delivers the highest quality care to residents.

The successful candidate will hold an active RN or LPN/LVN license, have 1+ year supervisory experience in a health-care setting, and preferably familiarity with skilled nursing regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience as a supervisor in a health care setting.
• Active RN or LPN/LVN licensure.
• Prefer familiarity with Long Term Care Federal Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations and Facility policies.
• Represent Administration in the facility when senior leaders are absent.
• Delegate administrative authority and accountability as needed.

Min $45/hr- Max $51/hr

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of nursing activities of the facility during her/his tour of duty.
• Assure that State and Federal Regulations as well as Facility Policy and Procedures are adhered to and the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
• Serve as Administration's representation in the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Administrator.
• Delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out his/her assigned duties.

Position Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or an accredited RN program is preferred, or a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program and currently enrolled in an approved RN program and actively pursuing an RN Licensure.
• 1+ year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Prefer experience in Skilled Nursing and knowledge of Long Term Care Federal Regulations.
• Actively licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN/LVN.
