Qualifications

• BSN required and licensure in Illinois (RN).

• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Telemetry competency.
• Basic computer literacy and EMR familiarity.
• Fluent English communication and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for unit operations and nursing care.
• Ensure patient safety and appropriate assignment based on staff competency.
• Collaborates with manager and educator for staff orientation.
• Oversees documentation, timekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes cost effectiveness and continuous improvement across the unit.
• Demonstrates professionalism and effective communication with staff, patients, and families.
