Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning.

This role may include additional duties within the scope of the position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.
• Ability to observe, assess and document safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Use the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in the planning and implementation of patient care.
