Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Clinical Shift Coordinator for the RN Float Pool. This full-time day role requires leadership in a busy unit, coordinating nursing care using the nursing process and ANA standards.

The nurse supervises shifts, ensures staffing adequacy, and maintains patient safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds a BSN, has 3 years RN experience, IL RN licensure, BLS, and telemetry competency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• 3 years RN experience required.
• Licensed RN in the State of Illinois.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Telemetry competency required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
