The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, rounds with physicians, patient and family education, data collection, and ongoing performance improvement. RN licensure in TN with 3 years of clinical experience is required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in TN or compact state is required.
• 3 years of related clinical experience required.
• Sepsis experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of systems understanding and performance improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical staff to provide multidisciplinary sepsis care.
• Round with physicians and review clinical data.
• Educate care teams, patients and families.
• Work with staff to reduce mortality and length of stay.
• Develop and implement patient teaching plans for sepsis.
• Collect and analyze sepsis data to improve outcomes.
• Participate in rounds and respond to patient needs proactively.
