Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Riderwood Village community in Silver Spring, MD. The RN will promote residents’ health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team, providing physical and psychosocial support to residents and families.

We are hiring RNs to fill part-time day and evening shifts in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

Qualificações

• Must have an active RN license in the State of Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop relationships with residents and families to support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nurse practice acts and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by establishing care goals and educating residents/families.
• Monitor residents for status changes and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document resident care accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
