Job summary

Vi in Glenview, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care at The Glen. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments while supervising several staff members and coordinating with residents, families, and the health care team.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited school of nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing is required.
• CPR certification required as approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• First Aid certification is required or must be willing to become First Aid certified.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior care to assigned residents, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatments; participate in quality assurance activities.
• Supervise several staff members and collaborate with the resident, family and health care team.
• Establish relationships with residents, families and other health care professionals to support care goals.
